Spain’s destinations did not disappoint the seniors who travelled with Europe Senior Tourism. They shared their opinions, with a notable enthusiasm for some of the trips in inland Spain, which are new to the programme’s range of package holidays.
The sixth season of the programme comes to a successful close
Europe Senior Tourism has ended its 2015/2016 season, the sixth since it was launched in 2009, with higher sales and more markets and destinations for its package tours for European seniors. The details and the final figures will be published in a few weeks.
Romanian TOs and Irish associations visit Cantabria and Andalusia
(07/04/2016) In April and May, Romanian travel agencies and representatives of Irish senior groups will see for themselves the many reasons to visit Cantabria and Andalusia, thanks to Europe Senior Tourism. It will be a unique experience in two trips to get to know the area, organised by the Spanish Tourist Offices in Dublin and Vienna, the tourism promotion agencies CANTUR and TURISMO ANDALUZ and the approved operator Turismo Vivencial.

Spain, Portugal and Poland are preparing a new programme for seniors with the EC
(01/03/2011) As part of the CALYPSO Preparatory Action, the European Commission has approved the project presented by Spain, Portugal and Poland to work jointly on preparing a seniors exchange system in the low season. Representatives of the three national administrations will work for eleven months to start up these transnational exchanges of senior tourists in 2012.
The EST programme also includes the offer of spa resorts
(01/12/2015) The Spanish spa resort networks is the group with the greatest number of awards for tourist quality in the sector, and Europe Senior Tourism has incorporated them into its offer in all the destinations that have these establishments.
