Portugal, Spain and Poland meet in Lisbon to promote the seniors exchange system
(24/05/11) The president of SEGITTUR and the representatives of the Polish Ministry of Sports and Tourism have travelled to Lisbon to hold a meeting with INATEL, with the aim of promoting the common project European Senior Travellers, which involves a seniors exchange system in the low season.
Nearly 1,100 Polish tourists to travel to Ibiza in April and May with Europe Senior Tourism
(11/05/2011) Thanks to the charter operation between Warsaw and Ibiza from mid-April to the end of May, nearly 1,100 Polish tourists are going to visit the island on the second edition of the Europe Senior Tourism programme. The president of SEGITTUR and the Regional Minister of Territorial Policy and Tourism have visited one of the groups staying on the island.
The third Europe Senior Tourism programme is being prepared
(02/05/2011). The third Europe Senior Tourism programme of subsidised travel will start next October 2011. An open tender will be held shortly to employ a company to organise, manage and market the programme, in which the Autonomous Regions of Andalusia, Balearic Islands, Valencia and the Canary Islands are taking part.

(01/05/2011). The latest destinations with flights available in the Europe Senior Tourism programme are to the Canary Islands, Menorca and Ibiza. Seniors interested in the programme can still go to the Balearic Islands until the end of May, and to the Canary Islands until 30th June.
