Europe Senior Tourism is promoted at the tourism fair in Romania
15/11/2012. Travel agents and communications media were in attendance at the presentation of the Europe Senior Tourism programme in Bucharest, as part of the tourism fair in the Romanian capital. On behalf of SEGITTUR, the project director, Elisa Domènech, gave a talk explaining the aims of the programme and the details of the holidays. She was accompanied by Edyta Romanowska, the representative of Euroseniors –the company awarded the commercialisation of the holidays–, and the general manager of Happy Tours, Javier García del Valle, the most important tour operator in the country and the programme's main partner.
After the press conference and the meetings with the communications media, the travel agents and the destinations engaged in a series of one-on-one encounters to explore the offer of holiday areas during the winter and the possible options for collaboration, both within the framework of the programme and beyond.
The fourth season of Europe Senior Tourism offers 24,200 available places in six countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Romania and Bulgaria. Romanian citizens over 55 will be able to enjoy a full holiday package including flights, transfers, four-star hotel, half board (including wine and water), half-day excursion in the area, extra travel insurance and a daily programme of activities.
